My Accounts

As a student, faculty or staff member of Dawson College, you have several accounts to keep track of. The following is brief overview of the different accounts you have access to, and what purpose each of them serves.

Allows you to check the status of your current book loans or holds, see any fines, and renew your books from off campus.

To access your account, you must login with your Dawson student ID number and your birth date (ddmmyyyy). You may change the password if you choose, but it is not mandatory.

The library subscribes to several databases, and most permit you to create a personal account on their platform.

With a personal account, you may organize and store useful sources indefinitely, and not fear losing information you might have spent hours finding. Please note that the library has no access or control over these private accounts.

EBSCO
A single MyEBSCOhost account will allow you to sign in and use account features on each of the following databases:
Streaming Video Databases
Your portal account provides access to all essential Academic, Registration and Student Services, including the different course management systems: Moodle, Léa, FirstClass.
You must have an active Network Account to login to computers in college labs and classrooms, and to access the wireless network when you are on campus.

When you are off campus, this username and password are requested when you try to access articles and eBooks from the library’s databases.
