My Accounts

As a student, faculty or staff member of Dawson College, you may have several accounts to keep track of. The following is brief overview of the different accounts you have access to, and what purpose each of them serves.

Students and staff of Dawson College each have a personal user account, which provides access to all college platforms and services.

For students,the password remains the same, but two different usernames are supported, depending on the platform being accessed.

Student ID Number
Enter your ID as your username when you:
  • Sign in to Omnivox
  • Login to any computer on campus
  • Connect to the wireless network on campus
  • Access Library resources

Dawson Email Address (firstname.lastname@dawsoncollege.qc.ca)
Type in your email address when accessing your:
  • Office 365 account (Outlook, OneDrive, etc.)
  • Zoom
  • Moodle

Allows you to check the status of your current book loans or holds, see any fines, and renew your books from off campus.

To access your account, you must login with your Dawson student ID number and your birth date (ddmmyyyy). You may change the password if you choose, but it is not mandatory.

The library subscribes to several databases, and most permit you to create a personal account on their platform.

With a personal account, you may organize and store useful sources indefinitely, and not fear losing information you might have spent hours finding. Please note that the library has no access or control over these private accounts.
